North Phyongan Province puts efforts into improving abilities of students by enhancing quality of the basic education.

The province convened a consultative meeting to discuss the measures for enhancing the quality of the basic education.

According to this, the province let the provincial teachers training school well prepare teaching aids to send them to teachers’ reeducation institutes in cities and counties of the province.

Meanwhile, they organized in Sonchon County, which was set as a model, the short course substantially to improve the quality of the basic education.

With this, they intensified the work for generalizing the advanced teaching methods in all parts of the province and raising the abilities of teachers in rural schools with the help of instructors of teachers’ reeducation institutes in cities and counties.

Now, the province arouses the zeal for emulation among regions while reviewing the results of work for improving qualities of the basic education in cities and counties.
