Most Precious Spiritual Asset

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, in the historic speech made at the groundbreaking ceremony for the fourth-stage project to build 10 000 flats in the Hwasong area, mentioned that the belief in our own strength and self-confidence, this is the most important of all, a spiritual asset that is more precious than our wealth in physical form.

Herein lies his noble intention that our people should vigorously usher in the era of overall development of socialist construction keeping in mind the self-confidence and firm belief in their own strength.

What our people realized in the long journey of the revolution is the truth that those who believe in their own strength can attain any goals.

When one believes in himself, he can make the greatest success even in unfavorable conditions--this is unshakable will of the respected General Secretary.

When he visited an enterprise, he instructed that if one believes in one’s own strength, even a thousand miles looks very short, but even a mile looks a very long distance if one believes in others’ efforts and that it is the immutable faith to be possessed of by the Korean revolutionaries fighting their way through the untrodden path.

In November last year, the respected General Secretary, inspecting the reconstruction sites of flood-hit area in North Phyongan Province, he said that we had come to believe in our strength once again through the on-going huge rehabilitation campaign and he regarded it as mental wealth more important than any other results.

Our people deeply felt that the belief in their own strength and self-confidence is the most precious spiritual asset which leads them to victory and miracle.

All the startling successes including the great heyday of the construction in which different parts of the country are being face-lifted every day, successive inauguration ceremonies and era of rural rejuvenation are a great change which is led by the absolute belief in our own strength and self-confidence.

Indeed, the offensive spirit and firm faith are the eternal life-force and boundless power for prosperity.
