Celebration Meeting of Women’s Union Officials and Members Held in DPRK

Officials and members of the women’s union in the DPRK met at the Hall of Women on Monday to celebrate the １１３th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were officials concerned, officials of the women’s union and union members in Pyongyang.

Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that President Kim Il Sung successfully accomplished the historic cause of building the party, state and army and performed immortal exploits in the history of the Korean people’s revolutionary struggle and the world history of politics, blazing the untrodden path for the country and people in the van.

They said that the sacred revolutionary career of the President who started his revolutionary activities by finding himself among the people is the noble life of the popular leader who regarded it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and made a long journey of devotion for the people’s happiness.

They said that the history of ardent love and trust of the President who led the Korean women to play their role as proud masters of the country is still constantly being carried forward under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

They expressed their determination to fully display the revolutionary stamina of the Korean women in the all-people patriotic struggle to greet the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory, with the firm faith that the future of the DPRK is very rosy thanks to the wise leadership of the great Party Central Committee.
