Forestry Sector of DPRK Makes Achievement in Timber Production

Officials and workers in the forestry sector of the DPRK have worked hard to increase production and thus fulfilled their yearly timber production plans for the Ministry of Forestry at over ９０ percent.

The Toan and the Paekja forestry stations, the Paegam Mine Timber Production Station, etc. finished their annual timber production plans in January.

The Hwaphyong Forestry Station and Sinhung, Chonnae, Pukchang mine timber production stations and many other units carried out their annual production plans ahead of schedule.

Officials and workers of forestry stations and mine timber production stations across the country are directing efforts to the final hauling of logs piled at the timber sites of mountains to reach their destinations in time.
