Now the whole country is changing its appearance and today’s prospering era is a new era of great turn and transformation being ushered in thanks to the noble state building idea of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Steadfast is the resolution and will of our Party to surely build a people’s paradise, highly civilized and prosperous socialist state best in the world in the near future by strongly promoting fresh practical and qualitative changes.
Our Party’s state building idea is to build a state that develops, based on solid politico-ideological foundations, by dint of science and technology and on the strength of advanced civilization.
To build a powerful state is the difficult, and yet gigantic work which cannot be realized only by passage of time, desire and will. A powerful socialist country will be built on this land when all the people pool their loyal and patriotic enthusiasm, modern science and technology serves as the powerful driving force for prosperity of the country and the most superior and civilized socialist culture blooms fully.
A state based on solid politico-ideological foundations is strong and unshakable forever.
Today some powerful countries fail to firmly defend their dignities and interests on the international arena. It is not because of lack of their strength, but because of failure in modeling the whole society with a single idea.
To realize ideological unity of the whole society and unity of action of all the people - herein lies the way to build a great invincible country no one dares rival with strength.
Science and technology is the powerful motive force for development of a state.
Now the imperialists become all the more undisguised in their moves to dominate the world by monopolizing up-to-date science and technology. So, the talents strategy, the strategy of sci-tech development should be put forward as the core strategy for achieving sustainable, overall and prospective development of the state.
Science and technology ensure self-existence and self-development of the state and rapid development of science and technology means the speed of dynamic advance of the state.
Advanced civilization is an important index symbolizing development of a state.
The status and position of a country is appreciated by its civilization.
A country where sublime and beautiful human relations prevail in its whole society and sound morality and culture become climate of the national social practices is the state with bright prospects.
Our Party’s state building idea is the revelation of sure confidence to build an ideal society for the people with our strength and strenuous efforts.
The four-year-long struggle true to the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea is covered with dynamic development and great changes.
Our Party has victoriously advanced the socialist cause with full confidence to surely realize the most just idea with our own strength, technology and redoubled efforts.
Our struggle is facing a great turning point. Our People’s confidence and courage is very high although there are huge ordeals in the way of our advance and our goal is great.
It is our people’s firm will to successfully complete the tasks set forth at the Eighth Congress of the WPK and build up another step of successes in implementing the strategy for development of our state with our wisdom, bravery, responsible efforts and steady struggle.
