Spirit of Continuous Revolution Unique to Workers’ Party of Korea

It is the fighting mode unique to our Party to make uninterrupted innovations and continued progress and bring about successive leaps forward while leading our-style socialism to incessant development.

Our Party’s idea of continuous revolution reflects its thoroughgoing revolutionary standpoint of making revolution to the end without interruption until independence of the popular masses is fully realized.

Its spirit of continuous revolution is a manifestation of the steadfast will to set endlessly high goals and translate the people’s ideals and ambitions into reality.

As the era develops, so the requirement of the people gets high.

Continuous revolution means that the struggle for realizing the people’s independent requirement and ideal progresses dynamically and advances toward a greater goal.

For our Party, which fights for the realization of the people’s demands, interests and ideals, continuous revolution is the natural attitude, reason of existence and revolutionary climate.

It is our Party’s intention that everything desired and wanted by the people must be brought to reality and practice.

Our Party unfolds gigantic operations for the affluent and civilized life of the people and pushes ahead with them.

The spirit of continuous revolution is also a manifestation of strong executive ability to redouble the speed of the state’s development and bring earlier its rosy future.

This spirit is a motive force accelerating the development of our state.

Whenever it faced harsh obstacles in the course of building a powerful country, our Party did neither step back nor hesitate but rather surmounted hardships with bold offensive spirit.

The substantial and simultaneous transformations and development in all sectors of socialist construction is a clear demonstration which shows that our state obviously makes headway by dint of our Party’s will of continuous revolution and its perseverance and executive ability.

A state’s mightiness is not what it is now, but it lies in its relentless pursuit of mightiness. This is our Party’s unshakable will.
