New Clothes for Children Carried by Charter Train
An inauguration ceremony of dwelling houses in flood-hit areas of North Phyongan Province took place with splendor in the presence of the respected General Secretary
One August day last year, the General Secretary visited the flood sufferers in Uiju County living in tents.
He entered a tent and instructed the accompanying officials to bring new clothes and confectionary for children. Then he told them to fetch all the children from other tents.
When the children gathered in the tent, the General Secretary kindly asked their names and addresses patting them on their heads and giving them sweets and cakes. He saw to it that the children changed into new clothes.
After a while, the children in new clothes looked dandy and they were very delightful.
Seeing the children, the accompanying officials were excited, recollecting the fact that the General Secretary had learnt in detail about the number of the children, boys and girls respectively, and had sent officials to relevant units to prepare new clothes for children. After personally examining the colors, forms and quality of the clothes, he saw to it that his train carried the new clothes and confectionary for children.
The General Secretary told the excited officials that he was encouraged by the children who were lively, bright and cheerful.
He continued that he deeply kept in his mind that we should struggle and should become strong to defend the children.
That day the General Secretary instructed to provide all the children in the flood-hit areas with the new clothes carried by his train. He instructed to give well-fitting clothes to the children.
So, the accompanying officials of the Party Central Committee waged a "campaign" for classifying the clothes all night long.
Next day all the children received well-fitting clothes and their parents were moved to tears seeing their children.
Indeed, the new clothes for children carried by the train of the General Secretary reflect the warm loving care of the great father who hopes that the children in the flood-hit areas will grow without any worries to be pillars of the country.
