New Life and Culture Brought About by Party Policy

Sinchon County has reaped bumper harvest of wheat in recent years by doing early crops farming, true to the Party’s policy on changing the grain production structure.

We visited the county some days ago and could hear the voice that wheat-made foods are good and our Party policy is the best in different parts.

According to an official of the county grain management station, the demand for wheat flour has increased greatly with the growing interest of the people in wheat recently and so, the station established the new wheat flour production process with high production capability last year.

He added:

Public catering establishments in the county including noodle house are winning popularities among the guests for their daily good services of wheat-made foods.

In particular, a courtesy service was given for the inhabitants including war veterans and disabled soldiers on the New Year’s Day and at that time, the best popular foods were wheat-made ones.

An official of the county people’s committee told us that a new civilized life and new culture are spreading amid the growing concern of the people about those foods, he continued:

Last year cooks of the public catering establishments gave short courses about the wheat-made foods to the farmers of various ris and thus it was highly appreciated.

The Saenal Farm, which is taking the lead in encouraging the wheat-made foods as well as farming in the county, has grinded the wheat flour and made wheat noodles with wheat processing equipment since it increased the output of wheat a few years ago. It is said that farmers are very pleased.

An official of the farm said that the farm had over-fulfilled its early-crops production plan last year, too, and thus distributed a lot of wheat to the farmers, and so they were making wheat foods in their daily life, to say nothing of holidays.

In the process of encouraging wheat foods, the food culture in rural villages was developing.

It was obvious that the farmers brought more zeal to wheat farming as they got real benefits thus.

Such a pleasing reality is witnessed in all localities where a bumper harvest of wheat is brought about every year thanks to the Party’s policy of providing our people with a more affluent and happy life.
