Model Agricultural Workers Tour Pyongyang

Model agricultural workers began touring the capital city of Pyongyang on Jan. 20.

They visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state, and made up their minds anew.

They also grasp the immortal revolutionary exploits of the peerlessly great men, looking round the Korean Revolution Museum, the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the Party Founding Museum and the like.

They also spend joyful hours at bases for cultural and leisure activities like the Central Zoo and the Munsu Water Park and the public catering establishments.

All the farmers said that they become full of fresh vigor as they look round the splendorous capital city and resolved to redouble their efforts to uphold our country, the strongest in the world, with grain production.

They also tried the subway trains and marveled at the wonderful looks of the face-lifted Pyongyang Metro.

They also had souvenir photos taken on the Lunar New Year’s Day.

The Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers and the relevant unit schedule their tour in a diverse way so that the farmers can have an enjoyable time here.

The tour of agricultural workers will serve as a significant occasion for distributing and expanding the culture of the capital city to socialist rural areas and bringing about a radical turn in rural cultural construction.
