High-yielding Peanut Bred in DPRK

The Dry-field Crop Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science in the DPRK bred a high-yielding peanut with rich oil content.

The newly-bred peanut has a high proportion of three seeds in a pod.

Weight of 100 peanuts is 80 grams. Its growth period is about 135 days and it is strong in disease resistance and lodging resistance.

It was registered as a national scientific and technological success.
