River Improvement Project Conducted in Rason Municipality

Rason Municipality of the DPRK has pushed ahead with dredging, embankment and stone laying, thus cleaning the river sections extending tens of kilometers this year.

The municipality removed hundreds of thousands of cubic meters of earth, pushed ahead with the embankment project and conducted over 15 000 square meters of stone laying in rivers.

The project for reinforcing the embankment of the Tuman River was carried out and tens of spillways were built in rivers to minimize flood damage.
