Kuryong Falls in Mt Kumgang

Kuryong Falls is in Kuryongyon District, Outer Kumgang of world-famous Mt Kumgang.

The falls, which is 74 meters high and 4 meters wide, has been widely known as one of four famous falls of Mt Kumgang together with Sibi, Pibong and Okyong falls.

Its stream falling down without stopping seems like a roll of white silk and wet fog by pouring waterfall further enhances the landscape of the falls.

There is mortar-shaped Kuryong Pool below the falls, associated with a legend that nine dragons lived in the old days for defending the mountain.

The names of Kuyong Falls and Kuryong Pool were derived from the legend.

The spectacular and wonderful falls is further mysterious with other legends.
