Signal Progress Made at Komdok Mining Complex of DPRK

The Komdok Mining Complex, a leading nonferrous metal ore producer of the DPRK, has made signal progress in fulfilling its national economic plan.

Several workteams of the complex carried out their first half-yearly plans ahead of schedule.

Among them is the Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam of the April 5 Pit, which introduced rational mining methods and technical innovations to increase the production of minerals while reducing the consumption of materials.
