Blasting Conducted at Sites for Reclaiming Tidelands of DPRK

Blasting was conducted one after another at the sites for reclaiming Kakhoedo, Woldo and Aedo tidelands, which are seething with the efforts to implement the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Officials and workers at the tideland reclamation general enterprises in South Hwanghae and North Phyongan provinces succeeded in blasting of 100 000 and 200 000 cubic meters of earth and small and medium blasting, opening up a prospect for pushing ahead with cofferdam project and embankment project for regulating pond in a sweeping way.
