Successes Made in Tideland Reclamation of DPRK

On Jan. 4, soldier-builders of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) involved in the reclamation of Sokhwa Tideland succeeded in blasting 200 000 cubic meters of earth, true to the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on steadily pushing forward the tideland reclamation.

Through the successful blasting, they provided a guarantee for stepping up the first-stage damming-up project for Sokhwa Tideland and are now registering high results in carrying rubble stones and soil and raising the ground level.

Thanks to their patriotic devotion and heroic struggle, the first-stage damming-up project for the tideland is nearing completion.
